About Denise…

4 years ago I quit corporate america and built my own business, Necee’s Chix Fix Food Truck. Knoxville’s 1st chicken salad food truck. There is something special about preparing good food, watching people enjoy it, and knowing you made their day a little better. Serving others has always been part of who I am.

Then, on June 6, 2025 I suffered a stroke and everything changed. 

In an instant, everything I thought was important shifted. Recovery wasn’t just about healing—it was about learning. I started asking questions I’d never asked before. What was in the food I was eating and the products I used every day? Did any of  that contribute to my stroke? Would it be possible try and make meals and products myself with cleaner and healthier ingredients. 

During my recovery I began studying herbs, reading everything I could get my hands on, and learning how plants can naturally heal your body inside and out.I researched. I experimented. I made mistakes. I started over.  Eventually I came out with some products I loved and started to really see a difference in how I looked and how I felt. It wasn’t an over night difference but after a couple weeks of drinking the teas and using the oils and lotions I made My skin looked healthier and I felt better. 

What began as a personal journey became a passion.

Today, every product at Necee’s Botanicals is still made the same way—with patience, purpose, and my own two hands.

I don’t believe in adding ingredients just because they’re trendy or inexpensive. I believe every ingredient should have a reason for being there. That’s why I carefully choose botanical herbs, nourishing oils, rich plant butters, and skin-loving ingredients that fit my philosophy of simple, thoughtful skincare.

I’m simply creating products I feel good about sharing with my family, my friends, and now with you.

When you open one of my jars or bottles, I hope you feel the care that went into making it. I hope you know it wasn’t rushed through a factory or created by a marketing team. It was handcrafted by someone whose life was changed forever and who found a new purpose in helping others through botanicals.

I am still taking the trailer out as much as I can but I am also very passionate about this skincare line.
